Project Management Overview - (1 day) Participants in this introductory one-day course work in teams on a standard case study and learn a common-sense planning and tracking methodology for project teams called Project MAP (Phases, Steps & Actions)™. Widely recognized and used project management tools and techniques are reviewed in this fast-paced and active format such as: Triple Constraint Management; WBS and Decomposition; PERT/CPM and Duration Compression; Resource Definition and Assignment; Bottom-up Estimating; Communication Network Planning; Performance Measurement, Change Control, Templates, Risk Identification, Contingency, and Response Planning.
