Summary Instructor Bio

 

David C. Ewert, Ph.D., president of Atwood Conger & Ewert, Inc. is Professor Emeritus of Finance and Director Emeritus of the Executive MBA program at Georgia State University. Its program achieved a top-ten ranking by Business Week. Dr. Ewert served on the Board of Directors for NEC Eluminant Technologies, 1998-2000. For the University of California, Berkeley he teaches executive seminars internationally. For George Washington University’s affiliate, ESI International, he teaches project management seminars. Dave has presented financial management and project management seminars in Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America. At Georgia State University he was given an Outstanding Faculty Award for his teaching. He holds an engineering bachelors degree, and his doctorate was earned at Stanford University in finance.

 

Teresa Newton-Terres, PMP is a consultant, trainer, project management professional. She is president of Project-TNT, LLC.  Teresa has extensive experience, extending over 15+ years, assisting individuals and groups to enhance their personal and professional skills. Clients include over 15,000 executives, managers, staff, and students from a wide variety of fields, including aerospace, defense, education, engineering, entertainment, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and training. In addition to her training and consultant work, Teresa is sought after as a team-member for individual, business, and corporate projects.

 

Barbee Davis, PMP, PHR, MA, is President of Davis Consulting, founded to meet the increasing demand on a national basis for high-quality training. She was Co-owner and Vice President of Sales and Training for ExecuTrain of Nebraska, a computer software training company training over 25,000 people per month, and has been a successful Account Manager and accredited facilitator for Wilson Learning for their Management Development, Sales, and Customer Service workshops. Barbee has over 20 years experience in managing training and consulting projects for clients in the Information Technology, Government, Banking, Hospital, and Manufacturing industries, to name a few. She has written and facilitated technical training for IBM Corporation and other large customers, co-authored, "How to Learn Microsoft Project in 24 Hours," and serves on the Board of the Project Management Institute-Heartland Chapter.

 

Neal Boring, PMP was Vice-President of AVC Medical Systems in San Jose, Ca. prior to starting the Southern Project Group in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995. AVC Medical Systems was innovative in developing and marketing a Windows based voice-recognition system for physicians and the recording of patient medical records. Primary market was at Stanford University. Neal has over fifteen years of experience in management level positions, delivering desktop applications and project management software training to over 3000 people and as consultant on projects at Ford

Motor Company and Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Systems.

 

Ray Coker was Senior Trainer and Consultant for Symantec in their project management group. He is president of Project Direct, Inc. project management service firm that developed and markets the iPM (Integrated Project Management Workshop). Ray has over ten years of experience in training and consulting with several leading project management software products, and has served as a technical editor for product manuals and project management books. He has designed and developed eight different project management courses for several leading management firms. He has taught project management tools, techniques, and project  management software to thousands of people throughout North America, Europe. Africa, and Asia. His project management workshops gross over $1,000,000 annually in sales.
